Yes. Whisper transcription, optional Qwen formatting, and transcription history all run and stay on your machine. Your audio is never uploaded, and Ditto sends no telemetry about what you say.
Whisper supports 100+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and more. You can let Ditto auto-detect or fix one for better speed and accuracy.
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 4 GB RAM minimum, 1 GB free disk space. NVIDIA GPU recommended for faster transcription with larger models.
